Prime asteroid viewing will be from 11:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m., but Vesta will be visible throughout the night.

A local medical office is offering free school physicals to the public on Saturday August 6th at their Lewisville office from 8 am to 3 pm. This ‘Student At h lete Appreciat ion Day ‘ was developed as a means to promote health screening and awareness for children and teens in the Lewisville and Carrollton communities in these tough economic times. The school physical examination includes testing for Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy (HCM), a congenital heart condition, plus screening for scoliosis, eating disorders, lymphoma and host of other common, serious conditions. Dr. Zahaluk will be conducting free school physicals at his Main Street Medical Care Family Practice and Urgent Care office in Lewisville, across from the Medical Center of Lewisville.
