Wildflower! Arts & Music Festival – Wildflower! is an award-winning, multi-day eclectic arts and music festival. Festival programming includes two main outdoor performance stages, family friendly Kidz Korner, strolling entertainers, buskers and acrobats, lots of interactive displays and exhibits. All ages. Fri 6pm-12am, Sat 11am-12am, Sun 12:30-8pm in Richardson at Galatyn Parkway and US 75. Three-Day Pass/$30, Adult Day Pass/$20, Kids Pass/$3, Richardson Resident/$10.
Mini Chefs at Grapevine Mills– Bring your kids Saturday, May 21 from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m.to the Kidgits Club Mini Chefs event. They will enjoy an exciting experience that combines food demonstrations with hands-on activities, encouraging kids to get creative and have fun with food. Located at Entry 5, Grapevine Mills Mall, 3000 Grapevine Mills Parkway, Grapevine.
The Colonial – Enjoy PGA action May 16-22, in Fort Worth at The Colonial Country Club where kids will have a blast at Henry’s Hideaway (behind the Colonial stone right of #10 fairway). There will be a complimentary lunch (served at 11:30am), activities, T-shirts and a front row seat to all the golf action. All ages are welcome Thursday – Sunday 10am – 4pm. Adult tickets are $45; Children 13-17 are $15 and children 12 and under are free.
Texas Steak Cookoff – If you are looking for a fun weekend getaway and want to taste the best steak in Texas then you will want to make the short trip and visit Hico, Tx this weekend! Saturday May 21 Hico is celebrating the 2011 – Texas Steak Cookoff. This is a small country town that hosts the largest steak cookoff in the Southwest and draws people from all over the US. This event has been featured on Food Network as well as featured in Texas Monthly and Rachel Ray Magazine. Attendees will enjoy good food, shopping, live entertainment and wine tasting.
